Retailing and Tourism Management News
The University of Kentucky Department of Retailing and Tourism Management recently named eight industry professionals to its advisory board.
The board will initially be tasked with assessing strengths and weaknesses of the programs, serving as a resource for students concerning career advice, and highlighting industry problems that students and faculty could solve through research.

What is your typical day as an intern?
During the first week of my internship, I arrived at 8 am and followed a schedule that has been made for me by my supervisor. I am getting to know everyone in the department, and the heads of the other departments (sales, HR, Inventory Management/Buying, etc.). I have also attended a few vendor meetings as well as a few turnover meetings.
