The Family Action Council (FAC) is open to both undergraduate students with a major and/or minor in Family Sciences and graduate students within the Department of Family Sciences.  The organization focuses on helping students navigate the path from their collegiate career at the University of Kentucky to the variety of careers the professional world may entail.

The FAC works to arrange a number of guest speakers, social events, service opportunities and networking chances for members. In the fall semester, the FAC hosts an annual Family Sciences Career Fair in effort to provide students with direct and more personal opportunities to meet potential employers for both internship placements and full-time positions.

The FAC meets monthly. Further information and answers to any inquiries can be found by contacting familyactioncouncil@gmail.com. The current officers are as follows:

President Kayla Jansen: kayla.jansen@uky.edu

Vice President Kendall Coffman: kendall.coffman@uky.edu

Secretary Sarah Christian: sarah.christian@uky.edu

Treasurer Alyssa Campbell: alyssa.campbell@uky.edu
