Professional Profile

Mika graduated from the University of Kentucky in 98 with a B.S. in Merchandising, Apparel, and Textiles. She went on to work in the apparel industry in sourcing at The J. Peterman Company and then later at Express. She also worked as a buyer for Abercrombie and Fitch.

In 2003 she returned to the University of Kentucky to pursue her Masters degree in Merchandising, Apparel, and Textiles with a focus on sourcing and manufacturing. After completing her M.S., Mika moved to Europe for several years where she lived in Germany and England.
