Professional Profile

Kelly May is the Senior Extension Associate for Family Finance and Resource Management at the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. In this role, she provides financial tools and resources to Kentucky consumers. She also serves as the state advisor for the Kentucky Extension Homemakers Association. She formerly served 12 years as public information officer for the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions, where she coordinated public relations and educational outreach. She is a member and past president of the Kentucky Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy®. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Northern Kentucky University and is working on a master’s degree in Community and Leadership Development from the University of Kentucky. She lives in Versailles, KY, with her husband and daughter.
