Professional Profile
Annhall Norris is an Extension Specialist for Food Preservation and Food Safety. She provides leadership, training, and subject matter expertise in food preservation, food safety and entrepreneurial food manufacturing to FCS Agents. Annhall implements the Homebased Microprocessing Program allowing Kentucky farmers to engage in value added manufacturing opportunities and strengthen the farm to table connection.
Annhall gained food safety and preservation expertise during her 17 years as a Registered Sanitarian with the Kentucky Food Safety Branch where she conducted inspections of commercial food manufacturing facilities. She has experience working for and with private industry in all aspects of food safety, food preservation, product labeling, and regulatory compliance. Annhall is an active member of the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (NEAFCS) and Kentucky's Environmental Health Association (KYEHA).
