Professional Profile

Amber Gray has been the Academic Coordinator for the Department of Retailing and Tourism Management since August 2018.  In her role she serves students and faculty through student academic advising, course scheduling, recruitment, and program and curriculum review and assessment. She is also a member of the UK Advising Network.

She began her career in Higher Education in 2008 at Eastern Kentucky University. At EKU she gained expertise in the areas of International Education, Enrollment Management, Graduate Studies and Student Success.

Amber is originally from a small town in Western Kentucky and moved to Central Kentucky in 2006 to pursue her education at Eastern Kentucky University. She stayed in the area after graduation because she fell in love with Lexington and the Higher Education field.

Amber has an A.A. degree from WKCTC and a B.S. and MBA from Eastern Kentucky University.  She is also actively pursuing the UK Business Procedures Certificate in Student Lifecycle Management, Finance, and Human Resources.
