Nancy Cox presenting award to Louise GladstoneThe School of Human Environmental Sciences offers sincerest congratulations to Louise Gladstone! Louise was recently named as one of two 2016 recipients of the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Outstanding Staff Award in the Executive/Administrative Category. She has dedicated over 43 years of service to students in human environmental sciences academic programs. She coordinates the advising for five undergraduate majors: Dietetics, Human Nutrition, Family Sciences, Hospitality Management and Tourism, and Merchandising Apparel and Textiles. Louise is also deeply engaged in working with these programs on curriculum development, as well as in supporting program assessment. In addition, she serves as advisor to the UK chapter of Phi Upsilon Omicron, an honor society in the integrated field of family and consumer science.

Louise Gladstone’s nominators shared, “Louise is an unmatched font of knowledge about the programs in the School of Human Environmental Sciences. She has a passion for working with students that goes beyond her role in student services, and we are truly blessed to have such a committed person on our team.”
