Professional Profile

Mindy has served in her current role since 2015, providing support for most of the communication and marketing efforts for Family and Consumer Sciences Extension. She manages all the social media platforms for FCS and interfaces with other media outlets to promote FCS programming. In addition, she oversees the publication and curriculum review process to ensure the rigor of our educational products. She relishes the opportunity to interact with agents from across all program areas as she provides professionalism training at New Agent Orientation.

Mindy produces and co-hosts the long-running Talking FACS podcast, where our content specialists share emerging issues that are important to families across the Commonwealth.

Prior to taking on her specialist role, Mindy served as the county extension agent for FCS in Barren County for 17 years. She also served in Missouri Outreach and Extension as a Regional Extension Specialist for Family Economics and Management before returning to Kentucky.

Mindy relaxes by spending time with her family, walking, reading, working puzzles, and trying new recipes. She and Craig, have two sons, Joshua (Ashley) and Matthew, and one granddaughter, Eleanor.
