Kentucky youth have gone "hog wild" for savings! Youth from across the state participated in the first annual Piggy Bank Design Contest and the winning entries are on display during the month of February at the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort. Winners will receive a certificate from Governor Steve Beshear.

Piggy Bank Display of 2011 Winners

The Piggy Bank Design Contest was a great way to get youth excited about saving money and also kicked off Kentucky Saves Month. Kentucky Saves is a statewide campaign and part of the national America Saves program.  Both encourage citizens to start saving and provide financial information to those who enroll as savers.
