Donna Smith, Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Family Studies has been honored with a "Teacher who Made a Difference" Award. The recipients of these awards are nominated by their students; the awards are sponsored by the College of Education. Smith was nominated by UK student Asia Grigsby, who wrote, "Dr. Smith is willing to do whatever she can to help you."
The 12th Annual Teachers Who Made a Difference Awards Ceremony was held on April 24 on the UK campus. Honorees include teachers, professors, principals or other educational professionals. Congratulations Dr. Smith!
