Each year, the Family and Consumer Sciences division of the Association of Career and Technical Education honors professionals by placing their names on the Roll of Honor. Ginny Ellington, Family and Consumer Sciences Education Instructor in the Department of Family Studies, was recently recognized as her name was added to the roll.
The Roll of Honor is actually a two-part program. Family and Consumer Sciences professionals are selected by their peers and donations to the Graduate Education Fellowship Program are collected in their honor. The individual's name is then added to the Roll of Honor and the funds are contributed to the fellowship program. Graduate fellowships are then awarded to students each year.
Ms. Ellington was honored at the Family and Consumer Sciences Division Luncheon at the Association for Career and Technical Education Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina in December.
