Sunny Ham, an associate professor in Hospitality Management & Tourism in the Department of Nutrition & Food Science at the University of Kentucky, was elected to the Executive Board of the Hospitality Information Technology Association (HITA) as of July 2007. HITA is an organization dedicated to fostering collaboration among all those with an interest in hospitality information technology or hotel technology, including educators, industry, vendors and government. HITA is an international association having members from the United States, European countries, and elsewhere.Ham also currently serves on the Board of Reviewers for ENTER 2008. ENTER is organized by the International Federation for Information Technology and Travel & Tourism (IFITT), and offers a unique forum for academics, industry and government to present and debate state-of-the-art research and industry case studies on the application of information and communications technologies to tourism and travel.
