Professional Profile

Katherine Jury is a Senior Extension Specialist for Family Health in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences Extension.  In that role, she creates content and provides health-related educational resources to Extension Agents and Kentuckians as a whole, empowering children and adults with evidence-based information to make healthy choices that improved their quality of life.   Previously, she was a Senior Extension Associate for Substance Use and Recovery, where she facilitated the implementation of targeted programs aimed at increasing communication skills and resiliency and decreasing stigmas related to mental health and self-advocacy. Prior to that, Katherine served as an Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences in Hopkins County.
