The Family Studies Department in the School of Human Environmental Sciences welcomes Judy Kinnas, Administrative Support Associate for the department.
Judy comes to us from San Diego, California. She and her husband moved to Lexington over seven years ago in order to be closer to their family in Chicago. "Our greatest joy comes from spending time with family and friends," says Kinnas.
Originally Kinnas transferred to Kentucky with Citigroup, but decided to get back into her second career of healthcare. She then spent five years in the Department of Internal Medicine in the College of Medicine at UK.
In total, Kinnas has worked in Consumer Lending for over 20 years. She started out as a Customer Service Tech with Citigroup and worked her way up to Branch Manager before transferring to Kentucky. She hopes her new position will give her an opportunity to make the most of what she has learned over the years from her previous positions.
Kinnas attended Grossmont College in El Cajon, CA.
