Five new members were elected to join the College of Agriculture Faculty Council in May 2008. Dr. Kimberly Spillman from the Department of Merchandising, Apparel, and Textiles was one of those elected to serve a two-year term beginning May 2008. She joins fellow School of Human Environmental Sciences faculty member Dr. Cheryl Mimbs, Department of Family Studies, who currently serves as secretary for the council.
The Agriculture Faculty Council provides a forum for faculty to discuss issues of importance. The group also serves as a reference point to provide support to the administrative team in the College of Agriculture.
