Four students from the School of HES have been named as College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Ambassadors for 2013-2014.

Kayla Brackman and Ann Vail

Kayla Brackman is a sophomore in human nutrition/pre-pharmacy. She is from Jackson, Ohio. Kayla is active in the UK Student Unit of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, Ag Student Council, Pre-Pharmacy club, and the Iota Chapter of Phi Upsilon Omicron.

Kenya Frazier and Ann Vail

Kenya Frazier is a sophomore with a double-major in family sciences and psychology. She is from Louisville, Kentucky. Kenya’s campus activities include K Crew, the UK chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, UK’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Center, Hall Government for Blazer Hall, and UK Fusion.

Christa Childersand Ann Vail

Christa Childers is a senior majoring in Dietetics. She is from Lexington, Kentucky. On campus she has been involved in the Student Dietetic and Nutrition Association, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Bluegrass Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit, study abroad in Ghana, West Africa, and job shadowing at the Markey Cancer Center.

Kenyatta Chandler and Ann Vail

Kenyatta Chandler is a senior majoring in Dietetics. She is from Houston, Texas. On campus, she is involved with residence life, campus recreation at the Johnson Center, the Preparing Aspiring Wildcats Peer Resource Team, and the UK College of Agriculture chapter of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences. Kenyatta will be serving her second year as an ambassador.
