Please describe your typical day as an intern:

I worked with a bridal consultant to uncover the desires of the bride to then find her perfect dress within her budget. The appointment slots are either 1.5 hours or 2 hours. Once the bride selects her dress, my job was to do all the paperwork and make sure the contracts were properly signed and completed.

What is one key thing you have learned during your internship?

I learned that everything is strategic. There is a reason behind every word we say and every dress we pull at the shop.

If you could share one piece of advice for other students who are preparing to complete an internship, what would it be?

Remember that you are an intern at the bottom of the totem pole, and that’s okay. Being an intern allows you to network and gain valuable experiences to help your dreams come true.
