HES Friday Research Seminar Schedule Spring 2019

Please save the dates on your calendars for the HES Friday Research Seminars.  The list of dates, names of presenters, and presentation titles follows below.

A light lunch will be provided during these events starting at 11:45am, with presentations starting promptly at noon in room 128 Erikson Hall.

 

  • February 1 - Dr. Amy Kostelic, Associate Extension Professor, Department of Family Sciences, will be presenting: “Keys to Embracing Aging”
     
  • March 1 - Dr. RayeCarol Cavender, Assistant Professor, Department of Retailing and Tourism Management, will be presenting: “Identifying Apparel Consumer Typologies with the Potential for Slow Fashion”
     
    Caroline Durr, Area Agent Nutrition Education Program, Graduate Student in the Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition, will be presenting: “Cultural Sensitivity in Cooperative Extension Nutrition Education Programing in Kentucky”
     
  • April 12 - Dr. Dawn Brewer, Assistant Professor, Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition will be presenting: “Growing Blackberries and Fostering Community, Research and Extension Partnerships”
