HES Fast Facts - Retention

 The School of Human Environmental Sciences is dedicated to the success of our students.  In the fall of 2014, 100 freshmen enrolled in undergraduate programs in the School of Human Environmental Sciences. Of those students, 85% were retained at the University of Kentucky in the fall of 2015, an increase of 3.7% from the fall of 2013 freshmen cohort. The data below provides freshmen to sophomore retention rates for the past five years in the School of Human Environmental Sciences.

·         Freshmen Entering Fall 2010 – 81.7%

·         Freshmen Entering Fall 2011 – 90.7%

·         Freshmen Entering Fall 2012 – 86.7%

·         Freshmen Entering Fall 2013 – 81.3%

·         Freshmen Entering Fall 2014 – 85%

Our faculty are working to insure our students succeed and the retention rate increases show the results of their efforts.
