Keys to Positive Collaboration

The biennial All-School Conference brings together Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Extension agents and assistants, nutrition education program assistants, and faculty and staff from the School of Human Environmental Sciences [including Family and Consumer Sciences Extension and the Departments of Dietetics and Human Nutrition, Family Sciences, and Retailing and Tourism Management] for a day of professional development, networking and recognition. The theme for the day is “Keys to Positive Collaboration.” The keynote speaker will be Jennifer Smith, Executive Leadership Coach and Workshop Facilitator. Registration Information:

  • Campus-based faculty and staff in the School of Human Environmental Sciences, Family and Consumer Sciences Extension and the Departments of Dietetics and Human Nutrition, Family Sciences and Retailing and Tourism Management should register by November 8 via the online form at: https://goo.gl/forms/7smTBuf08iVz2xCh1.
  • FCS Extension Agents should register using this form  with payment by check made payable to the University of Kentucky. County-funded program assistants should use the same registration process. Registration is due by November 8. EFNEP and SNAP-Ed assistants will register through the NEP office and SHOULD NOT use the same form and process as agents.

Call for Poster Session Proposals

A poster session will showcase collaborative research, instruction, Extension and outreach projects. Faculty and staff in the School, along with Family and Consumer Sciences Extension agents, are invited to submit proposals for the poster session. Submissions can include posters developed for other venues as well as posters specific to this conference.  The call for proposal is available here.  The deadline for submissions is November 13, 2017. Posters must be submitted for printing by this date as well.
