Professional Profile

Dr. Pei Zhang earned her Ph.D. degree in Hospitality Management from University of South Carolina. Her research work extends to both consumer and supplier/stakeholder sides. Dr. Zhang's research mainly focuses on value co-creation in tourism and hospitality, including guest co-creation experience using peer-to-peer accommodation, co-creation behavior among different stakeholders in tourism and hospitality system. She is also interested in tourist/guest experience, tourism shopping and rural tourism. Before joining UK, she was involved in several funded research projects focusing on economic development through tourism and hospitality in rural areas.
