Congratulations to Jennifer Hunter, Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist (Family Finance), Department of Family Sciences, for receiving the Early Career Service Award from Epsilon Sigma Phi (ESP).
As an active member in the family finance sector, Jennifer has dedicated her time to seek positive outcomes for families during this tough economic time. Through her work in developing resource and programming materials, Jennifer has been distinguished as an important asset to the family finance world. She was recognized by Epsilon Sigma Phi in 2011 with the Team Award: Kentucky Saves, for her work in building with the “Healthy Wealthy Future” program. Among her significant accomplishments is being a part of The Managing in Tough Times Initiative in the College of Agriculture, which commits to helping individuals, families, and communities to improve their financial livelihood through Extension outreach, research and community service by applying research based knowledge to their locally identified critical issues and creating financial education learning opportunities.
