What is your typical day as a student teacher like?
"I arrive at school around 8:30am each day. My first block begins at 9am. I teach four classes during the school day including child and human development, childcare services I, and childcare services II. School ends at 3:40pm and I leave school around 4:30pm each afternoon."
What is one of the things you learned as a student that you use often as a student teacher?
"Be organized and plan ahead! Teaching over 100 students can get crazy. I learned all throughout college that I had to be organized and plan ahead in the classes I was taking and I definitely apply that to my student teaching."
If you could share one piece of advice for other students in your major who are preparing to complete their student teaching what would it be?
"Prepare as many lesson plans and ideas as possible before student teaching! You will need them and it saves you a lot of time!"
