Susanna serves as Program Coordinator II for the Jefferson County Nutrition Education Program where she is the point of contact for community partners, supports and coordinates programming and outreach efforts, and provides office management. She began her career with Extension in 2022 as an NEP Assistant, then as the Staff Support Associate II for Jefferson County, before transitioning into her current role.

Susanna has a background in Occupational Therapy with specific treating experience in pediatrics working with youth and young adults with disabilities and developmental delays, adult forensic and recovery settings, community-based mental health, and working with elders in various capacities.

She is a West Virginia native, but has called Louisville home since 2013, and is passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of folks from all walks of life, community engagement and outreach, and addressing injustices and inequities for underserved populations through advocacy, support, and education.
