Professional Profile

Marisa Aull is the Director of the Nutrition Education Programs at the University of Kentucky. Prior to assuming this role, she spent 5 years as an Extension Specialist for the Community & Economic  Development Initiative of Kentucky and 11 years as an Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences. Her educational experiences also include teaching Middle School Family and Consumer Science and as the Director of Outreach for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Florida Chapter.

Marisa received her bachelors in Nutrition and Dietetics from Berea College with her area of emphasis in studies involving working with WIC participants and limited resource families.

Professional Honors include the 2016 National Assocation of Community Development Extension Professionals Creative Excellence Award,  Outstanding Extension Associate for the Kentucky Association of State Extension Professionals, Kentucky Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Hall of Fame, the Kentucky Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Wiley-Berger Community Service Award, and the Kentucky Association of Family and Consumer Sciences New Professional Award.
