Please describe your typical day as an intern:

I am able to take on various roles at Trunk Club. Some days I will help the senior stylists with in house appointments, while other days I attend events to bring in future potential clients.

How are you using and applying classroom knowledge in your internship?

I am able to use management skills as well as fashion culture in my everyday language. Another big class that is used in my everyday application is textiles. Being able to use technical terms with our clients helps verify my credibility.

What is one key thing you have learned during your internship?

I have learned how to communicate better and adjust to new tasks.

If you could share one piece of advice for other students who are preparing to complete an internship, what would it be?

Keep an open mind. This is a temporary situation; even if it turns out that it isn't the right fit for you, still try to gain as much benefit for yourself as possible.
